Falls Apart

from Television & Trash by Brett Schieber

/

about

I wrote this song at the end of a relationship....not so surprising, huh? My friend, Roger Reynolds, sang the choruses and the end with me. Like a great friend, he tells me to "let it go", while I whine and tell him that I can't. Ha! Roger has a great cd of his own on iTunes - itunes.apple.com/us/album/faith-love-and-loneliness/id139013502 - I played on the awesome songs "Like A Rose" and "Did You Know".

lyrics

Sometimes it's easy to let go, sometimes we drift away But you don't know what it is you want, so you take everything

(chorus)
It all falls apart, it all falls apart
It all falls apart, it all falls apart

I'm letting go of what I've tried so hard to hold onto
The time has come to break the chains and let you walk away.

(chorus)

"You've got to let it go", I can't let it go, "You've got to let it go"
