about

Finally, here's the complete "Rock & Soul" album that I've been working on the last few years. I've been wanting to make an album like this for a very, very long time. If it helps to contextualize what this album is, consider it along the lines of a Mark Ronson album, a Quincy Jones album, and like Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis's "Volume 1" album. I wrote and played all the instruments, except for the beautiful string trio of the Classy Chicks on "Don't Be Afraid", and I got the most amazingly talented friends to sing the songs. Their voices blow me away. I'm very lucky and grateful that they liked my noise enough to contribute their time, energy, and talents on this, so please look their names up and check out their projects too!
Thank you for being here and for allowing me to share my noise with you. I hope you enjoy it and I look forward to your thoughts!
Thank you!
Your noisy friend,
brett
